Output sometimes ignores linebreaks

Bug description:
When the output of a command has inherent linebreaks for formatting,
sometimes these breaks are ignored and the next line continues on the
one above it beyond the normal width before wrapping. See screenshot
below.
The only consistency I've noticed is it only bugs on outputs from
commands I enter; anything other players, enemies, NPS, etc say or do
are always displayed correctly.
Mudlet 1.1.1 on Ubuntu Jaunty.
