You can now play 4 sounds simultaneously. Currently there is no way to stop sounds without adding more bookeeping code -> feature request for future versions.

However, I don't see a way to halt a currently playing sound file. Calling playSoundFile() without an argument or a nil argument gives an error of 'wrong argument type'.
