Bug description:
Similar to the send() #998570 API improvement, this adds the following
style to createLabel argument check messages:
<function>: bad argument #<#> (<one-word description of argument>
<type> expected, got %s)
ie: createLabel: bad argument #5 (height number expected, got %s)
Attached is a patch that implements this.
This makes it much easier to realize which argument you got wrong and
why.
