By that logic Mudlet should do everything and no scripts should ever be
written.

This hasn't been a popular request at all, nor have I found a use for it
yet - so not to reinvent the wheel, you could make a script and put it up
on forums for others to use.

Title:
  Please add get Idle time

Status in Mudlet the MUD client:
  New

Bug description:
Please add function like getIdleTime() that will return either time of
last command sent by user to mud OR that will return how long user was
not sending anything to mud (ofc this timer should reset after every
  command sent to mud)

  Alternatively:
add time operations so I can add/substract getTime() result from another
getTime() result.
  Or:
add format specifier to getTime() that will return number of seconds since
1970-01-01 00:00:00 UTC (like unix 'date' command can)

  Mudlet: 2.1
  OS: Win7
