Events are triggered on the mouse press and not the mouse release. This results in things that are toggles (like clicking labels) being toggled when the user really wants to do things like move a label. In the recent label fix I released this is becoming an issue that I think needs to be tackled. To move a label you can't click then click-hold and move the label, you need to do it in 1 motion or else the label becomes un- selected.
