I run Webroot SecureAnywhere (v8.0.4.42) for AV. I have Windows8, but I didn't do the update to 8.1. The only "setting" within Mudlet that I altered was unchecking MXP in special options because it wouldn't vinstall with that setting on.
...AAANNDD after disabling Webroot I can paste now. When I checked the monitored/active processes through WR, mudlet.exe is in the "monitored" section, instead of the "allowed". When looking into this a bit further, it was the specific "identify protection". When I disabled that protection, it worked again. I was able to find the application protection section that had both mudlet and raptr denied. Once I allowed mudlet, and renabled it, it worked. Apparently it's a known issue with webroot, but it's not an issue, it's just that completely unknown programs, or ones that are constant threats, are disabled by default. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Mudlet Makers, which is subscribed to Mudlet. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1097953 Title: mudlet won't allow me to paste text being copied from an outside program Status in Mudlet the MUD client: Confirmed Bug description: So here's my problem: if I am in mudlet (using version 2.1) and on Windows 7 x64, I can copy and paste text just fine, both pasting to mudlet and to outside programs, however when I copy text, for example a URL in google chrome, and try to paste it into mudlet, it acts as if nothing is copied. However, if I then go to notepad and paste, it will paste just fine. I know a few others who have the same issue...I'd really like to see this getting fixed, it's greatly hindering my ability to do my job on Aetolia.
