It may be we can mark this as invalid but it does happen in some "modes"
of operation which IMO we don't handle very well. I guess this is
intrinsic in that we "have to"(?) operate in buffered line by line mode
but is that entirely true? I think I've already confessed that some
aspects of how the telnet protocol handles echoing of characters seem to
me to be more confusing than they first appear. 8-/

Title:
  Mudlet not displaying a line in time as it arrives

Status in Mudlet the MUD client:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  3.0 isn't displaying a line right as it arrives, where 2.1 did. Test
  case:

  * New profile
  * Address: mg.mud.de - Port 23
  * Connect
  * Notice the last few lines
  * Last line asks for player name: Wie heisst Du denn ("neu" fuer neuen
Spieler)?
  * Enter: gast
  * Abort and reconnect again (Alt + R)
  * Notice the last few lines
  * The line asking for player name does not show !
  * Enter: gast
  * The line asking for player name is shown only now, and it seems to have
come before the name was entered. Next line is concatenated immerdiately
  * Debug console confirms this behavior

  See http://forums.mudlet.org/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=4612 for the original
  report.
