Mudlet crashes when clicking on the search bar in OSX

Bug description:
Several people have reported that just clicking on the search bar (for
the MUD buffer search) crashes Mudlet[1]. It doesn't seem to happen
consistently though, just starting Mudlet up and clicking on it works
as expected.
