Agreed, and anyone that United is interested in buying is going to have his price sky rocket as well. I know I'd want more from a millionaire who wanted to buy my car then the solo mum down the road. I like Veron, and no he hasn't performed wholly to my personal expectations in general but I've learnt to be a little pessimistic about players' reputations - different country, different league, different team mates and style etc etc. Like you said he gives another dimension to our game and sometimes it pays off, sometimes it doesn't - but the only reason I personally would criticise him as a player harshly is if he didn't give 100% like the other players.

There's no doubt that Veron is world class but the other three midfielder's we have in my opinion are more suited to the English game. Keane, Butt and Scholes are absolutely brilliant. I believe more was expected from Veron, people expected him to be far better than Scholes, Butt and Keane. When in actual fact Veron provides another dimension, better utilised in Europe. > > That is my 2c worth, use it don't use it.
