Actually I didn't. Over the years I've come to the conclusion that Liverpool are a lucky team and we're an unlucky team. It's always post-and-in for them, and post-and-out for us. I just thought it was going to be another unlucky day for us So when Phil gave away the penalty in the last minute I thought that was it. I've always thought Bergkamp was a quality player and I didn't expect him to even give Schmeichel a chance. In fact I remember the commentator saying that Bergkamp had missed x out of his last so many pens, to which my (pissed of at this point reply) was "I bet he doesn't miss this one". (Probably why I don't win much money at William Hill! :-)) Once that had been saved however, then I think all the players and fans believed we could win anything, right through to injury time against Bayern.
