apologies if i angered you, but i wasn't suggesting that the topic be
'banned'...i was just expressing my opinion about whether it was
appropriate to be pursuing this particular topic. ironically, your initial
attack on the arsenal fan was (i gather) because you felt that he was being
insensitive by turning foe's death into an argument about wenger's
'rightness'.
if you disagree and there are others who are keen to carry on this
particular thread of discussion, then i just won't read it, and i certainly
won't suggest that the topic be 'banned'. so please don't overreact to my
reaction.
i've read your posts often in the past, and have the greatest respect for
your views.
i'd offer to shake hands and forget about it at this point, except that it
is rather difficult to shake hands over the internet.

My God I have nothing but respect for the player, but pretty soon this list
