Ronaldinho has gone to Madrid today for a pepsi advertr. No doubt he has gone to talk with President Perez and a move to Madrid while he is there. Fergie likened United to a bus, if you miss it, you generally miss it completely. Only Shearer and Blanc had Fergie stopping the bus at a service station for a few minutes. If you look at the facts, Ronaldinho hasn't had much impact at club level or with Brazil. The much criticised Veron was central to Lazio winning the Scudetto and central to Argentina's way of playing. Basically, Veron was a proven player while Ronaldinho is very much potential. Who are the alternatives to Ronaldinho? Kewell, Di Canio, Deco, Okocha? If we do miss out on Ronaldinho, maybe David Bellion will provide everything the Brazilian could.
