================================ Quaresma Dreams Of Joining Barca Barca and Sporting have discussed a deal for Quaresma (Getty Images). 07/05/2003. Ricardo Quaresma has admitted that joining Barcelona would be 'a dream come true' after Sporting officials carried out negotiations in the Catalan capital. The Portuguese winger could not contain his delight that a move to Camp Nou was a distinct possibility after the Lisbon club's president, Miguel Ribeiro, and director Carlos Freitas held talks with Barca's Sandro Rossell. "To sign for Barcelona would be a dream come true," Quaresma explained. "To play in Spain was always my objective and that is why I am keen to see how the talks go. "But any young player in the world would love to sign for them. We are talking about one of the biggest clubs in Spain and if I signed for them I would be delighted. "But nothing has been settled and I cannot confirm either way what is going to happen. "Playing alongside players like Patrick Kluivert and Javier Saviola would be amazing. I would not be nervous, just very excited." The Blaugrana's offer of 10 million plus Fabio Rochemback appears to have tempted Sporting and they are now ready to let their young star move to Spain. Negotiations also included the possibility of Barca signing Christian Ronaldo as well as they look to rebuild their squad for next season. The Catalan giants have drawn up a list of 70 players, but have struck the name of Mark Viduka from it because they have too many non-EU players. "Any move for Viduka is complicated because he is a non-EU player," confirmed Rossell. "I cannot see a move taking place unless Leeds are interested in taking one of our a non-EU players in a swap deal, which I don't think is likely," he said.
