Souness has done a great job there and although he may have lost Duff, he's bought really well to add extra class and depth to his squad. While I think Amaruso is a donkey, he is pretty solid. Emerton will shine in the Premiership and I've liked what I've seen of Steven Reid. If he manages to bring in Claudio Reyna as speculated I think they could well push for a CL spot this season.
For other improvers, mark down Brucies Brummies. I reckon they'll well avoid a relegation struggle this time around.
