Yep, I heard bits of the Chelsea-Blackbum game on the radio. Every time I tuned in, the commentator was saying, "careless ball from Veron," "Veron's given it away again," "Veron is utter shite." No, wait, skip the last one. I made that one up. But it looks as if he's the same unpredictable player he was for us: a brilliant 40-yard pass one minute and a botched 2-yard embarrassment the next. But I still do think he wasn't a total dead loss for us and might even have proven himself now in the absence of the ginger one. How's that for sitting on the fence?
