On a more serious note, did anyone watch the England U/21 vs Portugal U/21 game last night? One thing I want to point out is Glenn Johnson...he really seems to be out of the same mould as Ashley Cole, both dirty players and extremely arrogant! If you consider Stanic (who's booed by his own fans), and half the rest of the players you listed as world class, then I'd suggest it's not my lack of knowledge you should be worrying about. There's about 5 or 6 world class players there. The rest are just good players, mostly overrated (Lampard, Johnson etc). Every team has good players, but I can hardly see it being a problem for people like Stanic to be a sub for a few games while the likes of Veron and Crespo are playing. And he won't have to worry about Carlton Cole as they've loaned him to (I think) Charlton.
