I doubt Fergie has much to learn off Ranieri, Ed. Put their management medals on the table and Fergie's medals have a good chance of breaking the legs of the table. In saying that, Chelsea have done better than I expected but the players have already begun to air their grievances. Joe Cole, Lampard and Duff have already said they dislike the rotation system and that is when they win games and so early into the season - just wait till they hit the inevitable sticky patch. I am of the opinion that Ranieri already had problems with his rotating pre-Abramovich and so would exacerbate the situation even further when he bought 10+ players this summer. Ranieri has bought some marvellous players for the English and European competitions. His purchase of Mutu looks like a very good one. I heard Mutu is being charged for beating his wife/girlfriend so even if Fergie wanted to buy him, that type of player is not welcomed by United or Fergie. If some Billionaire wanted to buy United, I'd be against it. Chelsea fans put up little resistance as they are so desparate to win the league, they'd do anything that would help them in the pursuit of the Premiership. People complain about United's wealth but it is all self-generated, we have no rich bloke funding the club. Chelsea could be a threat to us in future transfer dealings (they were sniffing around Ronaldo which probably bumped up the price) as they can price us out for players such as Rafael van der Vaart/Joaquin Sanchez/Freddy Adu etc. Saying that, if a player really wanted to join United they could.
