David,

I'm in central Illinois. A town called Bloomington/Normal with a
population of about 200,000. Along with all the miles of corn fields
(faming country this) it seems to be a vacuum for anything but
Football (American), Basketball and Baseball. I figured it might be
worth joining the USA supporters club just to find out where the
nearest reds are for the big games. I might look into the bars with
ESPN international though.

I was born in England but grew up in Sydney. I moved to the US 3
years ago with my American wife. She's learned to live with my United
obsession (her word not mine) but I'm not sure she really understands
it.

She constantly hassles me for cheering or giving the ref abuse on
live and taped games.
