Well Terry, as we know, Alex never makes one change when he can make
three..On the surface, Fulham were given little respect regarding
team selection. But I guess we don't know the full extent of the
players fitness. Yet, man for man, All the United players looked on
paper better than his opposite number yesterday, so we can only
speculate why those who actually did play did not play better than
they did. I think it has been coming. We have been not playing too
well and getting away with it, as Keane expressed suprise last week
by our good start to the season, and said he felt so far we have not
really started to play! Arsenal also. Difference is their bad results
have come in Europe.

Take out Ruud, Scholes, Giggs (at his best) the currently injured
Solsjaer, maybe Forlan, and how many goals or assists would you
honestly expect the rest of the squad to get this season altogether?
Not trying to be negative here, BUT, the rest of the squad have
hardly weighed in with many the last two seasons have they? Quite
possibly, less than 10 even between them. It perhaps goes some way to
show how much is achieved by so few in that respect, goals wise.

I think so far, Tim Howard is the most impressive of the latest
signings as far as I am concerned. I think he is a better goalkeeper
than Barthez, at least more reliable. Whether Ronaldo will succeed
will depend whether he is integrated into the team pattern. Something
which so far has not happened. He does his own thing. I would like to
see him play through the middle instead of stuck like treacle to the
wing. One for the future though, surely. Djemba Djemba and Klebberson
(who so far has not had any real chance to be fair) I can't honestly
see what they can bring to our club that we don't already have in
abundence, that being Midfield holding players. In that respect, Phil
Neville has done best of all so far this season, from what I've seen.
At least with him in midfield, Keane has more scope to go forward.
People forget how good Keane can be in that respect. Keane is not a
midfield holding player. That is just the job he is most asked to do
for United. He can play anywhere really.
