Senior IT Security Specialist Job Description
- Generate security solutions - Direct and lead the vulnerability assessment, intrusion detection, and security event monitoring programs. Perform lead role in investigating and responding to security related events. - Direct and lead the maintenance and administration of software tools that support the Information Security Program. Examples of security tools include software to support endpoint security/encryption, physical security, vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection systems, data leakage and web proxy/filtering. - Monitor and manage the team's quality of service in responding to incidents and requests in IT Security's workflow queue and performing Information Security Processes, including the Quarterly Vulnerability Assessment (QVA) and the Certificate Management Process. - Perform information security program management tasks as assigned, including defining and documenting corporate security policy and procedures, security metrics, and managing the security awareness program. Provide input to the Information Security Roadmap. - Lead or participate in security driven projects as defined by the Information Security Roadmap. Represent the Operational Security team on non-security driven projects. - Maintains security team documentation, including runbooks, procedures, processes and hardware and software inventory detail. Qualification . Bachelor Degree in Computer science . Minimum 3 years of IT experience with 2 years of relevant experience in information security . Fluent in speaking and writing in English . A strong team player, willing to learn, used to work against deadlines, result oriented, structured, systematical, proactive and have an open-minded personality . Accomplishes task with minimal supervision. . Excellent written and oral communication skills. . Project management experience . Excellent troubleshooting skills. . Demonstrated experience . Good presentation skill and experience doing presales . Good knowledge of patch and antivirus management security hardening, backup . In-depth knowledge of security product likes Kaspersky,Astaro, Symantec ect. .
