Kaya'nya ini masalah istilah aja om Pandu, secara umum tabel di switch
diartikan sebagai CAM table :)
Enterprise class switch mestinya cukup kuat untuk handle switching small frame
yang cukup banyak.

Anggaplah ada 10 komputer saat bersamaan mengirim frame ke server. Kabel ke
server hanya 1. Berapa frame bisa dikirim pada 1 waktu ke server? 1.
Yang 9 dikemanakan? Simpan dulu di dalam buffer dalam switch.
Buffer dalam switch sendiri -- agar bisa di akses dengan cepat -- biasanya
diimplementasikan dalam bentuk tabel, yang tiap baris nya ukurannya fixed.
Tabel inilah yang akan dengan cepat menjadi penuh, dan bila penuh, switch akan
melakukan 'backpressure' kepada port2 lain, dan karena switch tidak ada
algoritma routing, *semua* port akan kena backpressure sehingga jaringan
melambat.
