Weird. Were they in java files or other files? I ran a script to convert all the tabs so I don't know why I would have missed some, unless they were added in later. This may be because eclipse only converts tabs to spaces when a new tab is > inserted, it does not convert old tabs. > Sure, but I don't expect a program to convert old tabs (neither does Vim). There were no old tabs after I changed them (certainly not in the files I looked at). I suspect the problem is that Eclipse's auto-indentation isn't obeying the tabs-to-spaces rule.
