Hi there,

I have a Acer Aspire 1420P notebook with multitouch display (for two
finger detection).
My problem is that the MT display is detected, but the mouse cursor does not move. It's always a the left top corner (x=0,y=0) but when I push on
the display, this touch is interpreted as a click.

As far as I understand it (Benjamin, correct me if I'm wrong) this might be a case of the -evdev driver deciding that the device is a touchpad because it emits BTN_TOUCH events, and switching to relative X and Y.

I'm still not clear why this happens with certain devices and not others. I thought my drivers were making them look alike.

St.
