I do many things. I am hired by the local public school district as a
consultant for their Spanish for Sixth Graders program, a Writing Circles
program (English) for recent arrivals in the U.S. and an afterschool math club
that includes mental math tricks, games, and solving real life situations.
Then I also have a private supplemental education center for math and
reading, open Mon-Thu.
All that only leaves me with Friday afternoons and Saturday morning to do
my other passion,
motivating young students to learn other languages (Spanish, Japanese and
very soon Esperanto).
Somewhere in there I manage to organize a cultural hands-on family
activity every month (Papel Picado this month, Chinese New Year in
February).
