Hi Kendra, I'm still considering whether or not to place dd in K next year. If so, she'll be in my friend/mentor's classroom. He and his wife are the ones who have provided invaluable info and how to go about teaching reading in Spanish. You know, all that great advice I freely give, lol. Although I'm bilingual, I'm not native and know my limitations - dd is already using vocabulary I don't know (a couple of words here and there). I would like to make sure she has a good grounding, although I know she's probably getting enough of that with papa who speaks no English. I'm taking my teacher certification classes now, and could either student teach next fall or next spring. The faster I start, the quicker we'll meet our goals and I can be back home to homeschool and have my own bilingual preK. Decisions, decisions. Renai ------------------------ Yahoo!
