Wow,
that's cool. You should definitely start speaking to them. I would
suggest 1 or 2 1-hour "play" sessions per day, introducing vocabulary
only. Set aside some toys, materials, etc. that are only used for
Spanish. They will learn to look forward to the special time.
Incorporate 2-3 songs, and use the same songs over and over. For example,
you might want to start with colors and animals. Use the song De Colores,
and Una Elefante. Use legos, colored blocks, etc to teach the colors, and
get a large set of animals. Play different games. but don't place high
expectation on them speaking or repeating in Spanish - they will need to get
used to it first. Low pressure is best, since they know English is your
first language.

I am brand new to this group. I have a masters in Spanish and am
near native bilingual. I have 4 kids that I homeschool. I had
always wanted to raise them bilingually, but have never done it. I
really want to teach them the language, but don't know how to get
started. What is best, to present it as a "class" or just start
speaking to them? The kids are 12, 9, 5 and 3 years old.
