--As for the inconvenience w/ the bassinet on the airlines, I've had a few nightmares, myself. Either they do not give us our assigned front row seats so we can use it b/c some childless grouch decided he's not budging, or when we do get the bassinet seats, the screws on the mounting wall are loose.. or worse, the flight attendants turn into physicits and declare the bassinet to be only appropriate for a child smaller than ours (whatever size he is at the time: the forumula tends to be: our kids' age-1month) @@
--Now the thing that irritates me even more is, when we end up w/o the bassinet and the child is in our lap, he cries and a few would turn around and make sure we see that "shut-your-kid-up-glare".. I had to tell one of them that I was once her, and to remember me a few years down the road when she has her own kids (if she's lucky enough, that is)..
Anyway, that's enough rambling, but this is one hot topic for me that took me out of my lurking mode LOL
