Hi, I want to ask people to share with me their experience how their children started to write and read in bilingual environment. Our kids 2 + 4.5yo are raised biligual from day 1 (czech/english) which is quite easy for us being a czech couple living in the US and kids going to day care. The older child is starting to read letters and form words and I am not sure whether we should favor one of the alphabets for a while so he could master one and then the other or whether we should just keep ignoring the english he is learning at pre-school and take care of czech at home.
