Hi, all I am a Korean living in U.S. My husband and I only speak Korean at home to my babies. We don¡¯t speak English at all. However, I believe they will speak English well once he starts go to preschool. I just read some English books for my first one almost 3 years old now. Fortunately, he loves reading.
I am considering teaching third and fourth languages. Since he shows interests in Japanese, I want to teach him Japanese and then Spanish. But I am not sure it is a right time and right decision to teach third language. He loves Japanese animation and copies simple Japanese words. Does anybody can give advice? Should I wait until he speaks English well or can I start now to teach him speak Japanese? When can I start to expose him to fourth language, Spanish? Is there any good software Japanese and Spanish? Actually, I don¡¯t speak Japanese and Spanish at all. Thanks in advance for your advice. -Youngsook Visit http://www.multilingualmunchkins.com. Home of the Multilingual Munchkins Playgroup Database.
