Your reply came off as fairly snarky. Pine was asking a simple
question; you can point him to phabricator without making him feel bad
for asking. The alternative is getting fewer people asking questions
and reporting bugs or possible areas for improvement, which is a good
way of shooting ourselves in the foot when it comes to user-centred
development and feedback cycles.
