Hi all, We have just posted a new I-D dealing with the requirements and functional specification of the MLD proxy with multiple upstream interfaces, covering a number of potential scenarios of applicability within MULTIMOB working group.
As a first step we are focusing on the requirements that the MLD proxy should satisfy. Further work will be focused on specifying the required functionality to cover that requirements. The draft can be found following this link: http://www.ietf.org/id/draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams-00.txt Comments are more than welcome Best regards, Luis -----Mensaje original----- De: [email protected] [mailto:[email protected]] Enviado el: lunes, 15 de octubre de 2012 16:39 Para: [email protected] CC: LUIS MIGUEL CONTRERAS MURILLO Asunto: New Version Notification for draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams-00.txt A new version of I-D, draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams-00.txt has been successfully submitted by Carlos J. Bernardos and posted to the IETF repository. Filename: draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams Revision: 00 Title: Extension of the MLD proxy functionality to support multiple upstream interfaces Creation date: 2012-10-15 WG ID: Individual Submission Number of pages: 13 URL: http://www.ietf.org/internet-drafts/draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams-00.txt Status: http://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams Htmlized: http://tools.ietf.org/html/draft-contreras-multimob-multiple-upstreams-00 Abstract: This document presents different scenarios of applicability for an MLD proxy running more than one upstream interface. Since those scenarios impose different requirements on the MLD proxy with multiple upstream interfaces, it is important to ensure that the proxy functionality address all of them for compatibility. The purpose of this document is to define the requirements in an MLD proxy with multiple interfaces covering a variety of applicability scenarios, and to specify the proxy functionality to satisfy all of them.
