I have been working on the ldap plugin the last few weeks to give it some of the functionality that the plugin included with multisync is missing.
So, to anyone who has a ldap server at his hands and is willing to test the plugin:
replace the original ldap_plugin directory in the plugins directory with the dir included in the tar.gz
execute autogen.sh in the multisync directoy
do normal configure, make, make install with the new ldap_plugin
a patch would not work, since I rewrote most of the plugin...
to summarize the new features:
- complete gui
- test connection button which test the server for connectivity, permissions and evolutions support
- all the statefiles and files with the changes in xml
- support for multisyncs way of handling double changes, the duplicates
- support for quoted-printable data
- support for all the evolution entries
