Hi- I am having trouble getting multisync to install on suse 8.2.
When I attempt to build it myself, after running autogen.sh it fails on an unexpected token - "PAKAGE" line 8738. If I install the rpm, it runs, but causes a seg fault warning, but does not crash. The backup plugin is shown in plugin one and two, but the evolution plugin is not. I have upgraded to evolution 1.4, and I believe that I am using the correct versions of multisync (not gnome1). I had to install another rpm not built for suse (in was for mandrake, I think) in order to get libgal-2.0. Any advice, or pointers to resourses would be appreciated. I am quite new to linux, and getting my contacts into evolution would be a pivotal moment: the end of the dual boot! If switching distributions is a simple solution to my problems, that would not be a problem. Pardon if these questions are mundane and naive. -Jay. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: SF.net Giveback Program.
