hi rob,

the problem is that afaik evolution does not provide a api to access its
address, tasks and calendar. they are accessed by working on the files
where they are stored (~/evolution/local/...).

the connector source dont appear there (for a obvious reason) and
therefore cannot be accessed. i think i have read that the folks from
ximian a working on a more generic way to access those sources. But that
wont work until evo 2.0.

The dropdown list is there so you can choose among different local
calendar or address etc folders (i named my calendar test folder
calendar-synctest for example)
