Hi nice idea :) This could also be done using dbus, since it can transmit its messages over a network.
So it would look like this: you have the multisync engine running on your router and opened a port with dbus listening to your local network. Then gui would then be started on your local pc, which then connects to the router. We are still in a planing phase for that so any ideas and help is greatly appreciated.
