I have branched CVS for the 0.82 release - the branch tag is branch_08X.

It is expected that further 0.8 releases (0.83, etc.) will occur off of
this branch. This would include important bugfixes and plugins scheduled
for near-term release - e.g. the Evolution 2 plugin is planned for 0.83.

The CVS HEAD is now dedicated to 0.90, which means it will be unstable and
probably not suitable for general use for a while.

Unless you are contributing to the 0.90 work expressly, patches should
probably be given against branch_08X and then we can merge them back in to
the HEAD if applicable.

Finally, if you get a chance to try the new 0.82 release right away please
let me know how it goes. I have done a quick install of the RPMs and a
quick build of the source as a sanity test, but I'd like some other
confirmation that the release files are ok.

Thanks,

Tom
