The KDE plugin is ready for beta testing. All the code has been committed to CVS (branch_08X) and volunteers are sought for testing.
I have had one complaint that the plugin is not detected by multisync but I cant replicate that problem myself. Otherwise it works fine on my FreeBSD and Linux boxes. However I want more people to test it before I am confident enough to release it. For those who dont wish to check out the source code from CVS I am attaching precompiled binaries for i386 Linux machines in both rpm and deb formats. These are only 15K each. Perhaps one of the project leads would like to make them available on the website too? Otherwise you need to check out the multisync source tree from CVS and build it (as follows) $cd multisync/plugins/kdepim_plugin $./autogen.sh $make $su $make install I can also email a tarball (340KB) of the source code to anybody who requests it. This is probably easier. Please let me know any results (good or bad) of your testing, and lets hope it works for you! I recommend that all testers backup their KDE addressbook data before running this code (just to be safe). -- Stewart Heitmann <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>
