This is more of a technical question than a suggestion.. I apologies in advance if this is the incorrect forum for this question, I dont want to start a flood of e-mails advising me to that fact, if it's incorrect, please do let me know, but a flood is not necessary.. Right .. now on to my technical question..
2 Things... Firstly I tried to sign up to the website, and got Warning: fopen("data/members.txt", "a") - Permission denied in /home/groups/m/mu/multisync/htdocs/users.php on line 80 Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/groups/m/mu/multisync/htdocs/users.php on line 81 Warning: Supplied argument is not a valid File-Handle resource in /home/groups/m/mu/multisync/htdocs/users.php on line 82 Secondly -- I have a Motorola e398 Mobile phone - and I finally got it working in Linux, and can minicom to the device, and read and write SMS and dial numbers and query the phone book and all that using standard AT commands. EG at+cpbf=Chris -- to find all Chris in the address book. Does Multisyncs IrMC use a similar method to enter data into the phone or am I trying to do something that does simply not work? If this does not work, I am unable to code, and could not make the plug-in, but am more than happy to sit and send valid codes from my Windows install on how it talks to the phone to add Phone-Book and Calendar entries and then you have a standard AT command set Plug-In, but I am hoping that IrMC will actually do that......... I am looking at using the Evo2 plugin, and the IrMC plugin to talk to the phone, but I cant find any info on this plug in apart from saying, that it works on these phones. If this plugin does use the AT command set, then I think it will work on a Motorola and I am more than happy to provide the developer of that plug-in fixes if he / she requires to assist in another device to work on that plugin. Anyway, due to an issue on Debian, I am unable to install the application at this point in time, but will do so in due course. Cheers .. and again, sorry if this is the wrong place to post this .. ------------------------------------------------------- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: InterSystems CACHE FREE OODBMS DOWNLOAD - A multidimensional database that combines robust object and relational technologies, making it a perfect match for Java, C++,COM, XML, ODBC and JDBC. www.intersystems.com/match8 _______________________________________________ Multisync-devel mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/multisync-devel
