Hi Carl, The problem that you described with the Opie description and note should be fixed. I am syncing changes to both fields in both directions. Let me know if things seem OK at your end too.
As you surmised in a later email, the timezone issue is partially an Opie problem. Right now Opie stores the date/time as a time_t (seconds since the Unix epoch). I convert incoming dates to time_t using the infomation I have available; the timezone of your PC. Sometimes Evolution will specify the timezone for the date with the data it provides (in a somewhat difficult to parse format) so I can try and use that adjust for the timezone rather than the timezone of your PC - I'll look into it. However, there is no way for me to tell the Opie addressbook what timezone to display in at its end (or at least none that I can see...).
