That is the way that RPM works - it will only resolve dependencies on 
files installed by other RPM packages, not stuff you have built from 
source yourself. 

You can use --nodeps like you have, or you can get a more up-to-date 
openobex package from RedHat Rawhide (or another packager, or build your 
own RPM package...)
