I'll give it a try and report back......but first I guess I need to get my P800 to talk to my PC, and here is where I'm a bit stuck. If anyone has got this to work before then I'd appreciate some pointers in the right direction.
As I said, I have no IR & no Bluetooth, only the USB and the following web-site, http://mobile.linux.pt/p800/ , says this:
"The USB Craddle uses a standard Ericsson DCU-10 USB cable. The chipset is from Susteen, Inc http://www.susteen.com/. The vendor ID is 0x731 and the product ID is 0x528. Linux Kernel doesn't support this. I've tried modprobe usbserial vendor=0x731 product=0x528, it didn't complaint but it didn't work either. :) "
As soon as I crack this problem then I can help out testing SyncML-->Evolution

The P800 uses SyncML, so that is the plugin you will need. However, I know that it is only partially working, but I am not sure what "partially" is - Bo (who wrote that plugin) is away right now. You can give it a try and let us know how it goes.
