Just a question about the concept....and how it's supposed to work.
Up to a point I have my P800 talking to my Linux box with Bluetooth.....but how do I send receive contacts to Evolution?
I guess it's the SyncML and P800 plugins...but I'm confused about this SyncML server business.....how does the P800 know where to find the SyncML server? (which I assume that Multisync can act as).
Would I be right in thinking that I would need to enter my own assigned IP address in the 'SyncML plugin' settings, and then my P800 would have to connect over the Internet to my Linux box (ie no direct connection via Bluetooth or USB)?....using the 'Remote Sync' option on the P800?
And if I wanted to go the other way and talk -from- Linux to the P800 then the SyncML plugin would be a client and I'd need to install a SyncML server, such as the one from: http://nicolas.bougues.net/syncml ?
If I can get the 'how it's supposed to work' correct then I think I can make some progress here...
Many thanks
