Note, i said M not S =)
The M does not have IR or bluetooth, i want to buy a cable.

Oh, I'm sorry, I should learn to read better :-) Anyway, I'd be
surprised if they use some other synchronization method than the S55
(which follows the IrMC standard).

Okay, got a cable from a friend.
The cable if fine, i can read/get files via obexftp from my phone.
However, multisync does not work.

Not sure, but I've already asked about S55 connection via data-cable to my PC and I got anser saying something
like this:
S55 doens't work properly if it is connected via cable. Irda works fine. I don't remember what the guys developing
MultiSync told me for reasons but with Irda I could get it work....

M55 probably doesn't have infra port, does it?

I am using for testing the gnome2 version
with the IrcMC plugin and the Backup Plugin. "Test connection" just opens a
window that says "testing connection" with a greyed out button. After
having added the sync pair, it just says "Connecting to local client".
Can anyone help me? What am i doing wrong?
Yes, i picked the right serial port ;)

Oh and if this helps:

MANU:SIEMENS
MOD:M55
SW-VERSION:04
IRMC-VERSION:1.1
