Hello everybody,

yesterday I wrote a message and reported a problem with Multisync's Evolution (1.4)
plugin
on SuSE 8.2. After having found this maillist (the link on the multisync site didn't
work for
me), i also found the solution a couple of messages earlier, where somebody had the
same
problem:

If everything installs ok via rpm (tar sources won't work due to an error in the
./configure, I
think), Multisync doesn't find the Evolution plugin, but all other plugins installed.
This appears
to be due to the fact that Multisync can't find some Evolution libs. To solve that
problem, one
has to add the line "/opt/gnome2/lib/evolution/1.4" to "/etc/ld.so.conf". Then simply
run
"ldconfig" as root. That should solve the problem.

Thanks to gaboro and Tom! They solved the problem.
I just compiled this info, since I thought it might be helpful. Maybe you guys from
Multisync
could add this piece of information to a/the Multisync FAQ. Just an idea. ;)

Best regards
Christian

PS: My Config:
- SuSE 8.2
- Evolution 1.4.5
- Multisync 0.8 (gnome2) / plugins: Evolution, IRMC)
