Dear Christian,

I had very similar problems with mulitsync plugins.
I use Debian (Unstable feed, KDE 3.1, Evolution 1.4)

Check out the dependencies of the multisync plugins.
They are located in /usr/local/lib/multisync/
Sorry, I do not know the exact name of the plugin,
so just have a look in the directory.

Try ldd -r /usr/local/lib/multisync/[PLUGIN-NAME]

If you find entries like this  "libcrypto.so.4 => not found"
then you are missing some libraries or symlinks.

Send the output for taking a closer look at it.

I had this problem with the Multisync-OPIE plugin
that could be solved by adding a symlink to
libcrypto.so.0.9.7. that is located in /lib
