I was using Multisync just fine (more or less) before pugrading to GNOME 2.4. Now it behaves oddly. It began by locking up for no apparent reason, then, when I would run 'multisync' it would simply not run. If I killed it and deleted /root/.multisync and ran it again, it would work.
Then, it started synching constantly. By this I mean it would cause the "synching" screen to come up on the Z and as soon as it disappeared, Multisync would reconnect and sync again. This would go on forever, rendering the Z very difficult to use. On top of this, it didn;t actually synchonize any of the data. I read on the list that Multisync doesn't like Evolution 1.4.4 so I upgraded to 1.4.5, downloaded the CVS snapshot of Multisync, recompiled and reinstalled. Now when I execute 'multisync' nothing appears in the terminal and no Multisync comes up, not even the icon in the notification area. Deleting /root/.multisync doesn't help, nor does trying to run another instance of the program. I am running OpenZaurus 3.2. I'd love to get this working. Thanks in advance for the help! ~Christopher ------------------------------------------------------- This sf.net email is sponsored by:ThinkGeek Welcome to geek heaven. http://thinkgeek.com/sf _______________________________________________ Multisync-users mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/multisync-users
