i didn't create a new pair. to be fairly honests, i didn't even want to
try to do something which could make me lost all my contacts... i've no
way to backup them from the phone (on freebsd, i used obexapp to get
pb.vcf, on Linux obex_test is not able to do that...).

ARGGGG ! damned ! i never should have checked this !!!! shame on me !!

yes, but only recent ones. logical.

i unchecked the "delete from backup". hope i will have more luck next
time. i will try with a new syncing pair for the phone.
