"Pairing" means that the two devices (S55 and computer) create a common
encryption key. Using this key, both devices can ensure that they are
talking to the other part (and no one else). Most devices allow only
connects from paired devices. This is for security reasons, since
otherwise anyone could read your phone calendar!

To pair your phone with your computer, edit (if necessary)
/etc/bluetooth/hcid.conf to "security auto" and enter a PIN number in
/etc/bluetooth/pin. Then initiate pairing from the phone (in some menu)
and enter the same pin when asked for it.
