Just to prevent useless effort for other folks like me, the (unsupported) "Sharp Zaurus 3.X ROM PIM" means (as far as I can tell) the Sharp Zaurus SL-5600, SL-C750, SL-C760, and the soon-to-be-sold-in-the-US SL-6000. I happen to own a SL-C750 and I was hoping to (finally!) be able to ditch MS Outlook. Oh well, it looks like I'll have to wait a bit.
Which brings me to my real point, which is that I am SO willing to be a beta tester for whoever is working on the Zaurus 3.X ROM PIM. I am fairly technically savvy enough to help debug and figure stuff out. I would volunter to help code, but I program all day long and it's the last thing I want to do when I get home.
And to anybody interested, the SL-C750/sl-C760 PDA's are the best PDA's on the planet as far as I am concerned.
