Next time, issues with the MultiSync plugin may be better off on the

Good, not everyone has been able to make their 5550 work with SynCE!

I would recommend that you only have the SynCE plugin in a single
synchronization pair, and that you specify Evolution as the first part
of the pair, and SynCE as the second part.

The pppd log looks good, except that pppd was shut down with
synce-serial-abort or similar.
It is much better to do like this:
killall -HUP dccm
(I know, this is poorly documented, sorry!)
